Genealogical Evidence Systems, LLC is developing genealogy evidence-analysis software. The product is not yet generally available.
Data we expect to process
If authorized integrations are enabled, the service may process genealogy data that a user chooses to analyze, account identifiers needed for authentication, source metadata, relationship information, and technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.
Authentication
We intend to use providers' documented authorization systems. We will not ask users to give us their FamilySearch password.
Use of genealogy data
Genealogy data will be used to provide requested research and evidence-analysis functions, maintain security, diagnose errors, and improve the service as permitted by applicable agreements and user consent. We do not intend to sell users' genealogy data.
Retention and deletion
Retention practices will be finalized before public launch. The design goal is to minimize stored third-party genealogy data and retain credentials and tokens only as needed to provide authorized functionality.
Third-party services
Authorized integrations may be governed by additional terms and privacy rules of the applicable third-party provider.
